Medicactus Halloween Review Giveaway — official rules.
Updated September 13, 2026: added a free way to enter. Reviews posted before this update still count, and every entry has the same chance.

Who can enter: legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 or older (19 or older in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 or older in Mississippi). Medicactus staff and members of their households are not eligible.
Entry period: September 1, 2026, 12:00 AM through October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
How to enter. Either way gives the same single entry:
- Leave a product review on medicactus.com for a plant you have bought from us. Any honest review counts, at any star rating; entries are not conditioned on what your review says. Reviews count once they are approved. Approval screens out spam, abuse and reviews that are not from a genuine customer experience, and never depends on whether a review is positive or critical. Reviews posted during a giveaway show a note that the reviewer received an entry.
- Enter free with the form below. No purchase or review needed. Joining our email list is a separate, optional box and does not affect your entry. If the form does not work for you, email in**@********us.com with the subject “Halloween free entry” and the email address you want entered, before the entry period ends, and we will enter you the same way.
Limit: one entry per person in total, whichever way you enter and however many reviews you leave. Entries that are automated, or made with fake or extra email addresses to get more than one entry, are void.
Prize: one (1) small rooted Penis Cactus — TBM, Trichocereus bridgesii monstrose, raised in a 4-inch pot — an ornamental collector cactus. Approximate retail value: $11. Shipped free to the winner’s US address. No cash alternative. If this plant is unavailable, Medicactus may award a plant of equal or greater value.
Odds and drawing: the odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. One winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries on November 1, 2026. The draw is verifiable: the list of entrants is locked first, and the winner is picked with a public randomness beacon (drand) round that had not been generated when we committed to it.
Winner notification: the winner is notified by email within 7 days after the drawing and must reply within 14 days with a US shipping address. If the winner does not reply in time or is not eligible, the prize is forfeited and an alternate winner is drawn the same verifiable way from the remaining entries.
Winner’s name: to get the winner’s first name and state, email in**@********us.com with the subject “Halloween giveaway winner” by December 31, 2026.
Privacy: entry details are used only to run this giveaway and contact the winner. Entering does not add you to our email list; free entrants can choose to join with the optional box, and anyone on the list can unsubscribe at any time without affecting an entry.
Conditions: by entering, entrants agree to these rules and release Medicactus from liability for any loss or injury arising from taking part or from the prize, except where the law does not allow it. Medicactus is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries or for technical failures. These rules are governed by the laws of the State of California.
